The latest edition of the TE-SAT (European Union Terrorism Situation and Trend Report) has become available online. This strategic document has been prepared by experts at Europol and is based on contributions from EU Member States and Europol partners. The TE-SAT presents an overview of terrorist attacks in the European Union and outlines main trends related to terrorism. It informs, among others,　that Islamic State (IS) affiliated groups have the intent, capability and resources to carry out terrorist attacks against the EU and acts of violence by IS have the potential to increase in number and intensity.
