Bosnia and Herzegovina’s national action plan for preventing and combating terrorism was adopted during a time of intensifying security challenges on a global scale, including, among other, foreign terrorist fighters, violent extremism and crime and hate speech, abuse of the Internet for terrorist purposes. The document outlines Bosnia’s gravest concerns, enhanced strategies and four key objectives of: Prevention, Protection, Investigation and Criminal Prosecution, and Response/Reaction to Terrorist Attacks. Bosnia’s national strategy also discuss the need to tackle terrorism out of their own borders, forwarding collaborative regional and global approaches, since acts of terror often know no borders.
