This paper examines how two activist groups attempted to use their websites to win support from people and influence international opinion on a controversial foreign conflict, the Kosovo crisis in 1999. This paper uses the Internet Archive web pages of the two websites to analyze how these two sites evolved in content, layout and their strategies to build international support and convey an impression of authority. It raises a very important issue about how people judge the credibility of online information in the Internet era.
