Don’t Believe the Hype was a leafleting campaign in Peterborough, to promote community cohesion and undermine the prejudiced attitudes of small sectors of the community that threatened to stoke tensions. This was in response to a high level of local prejudice in some areas of Hull over high levels of immigration from the new EU states and supposed allocation of resources.
